ABOUT CASSANDRA TONDRO,
THE ARTIST BEHIND FRAMEABLE ART CARDS

As a mid-career artist, Cassandra has shown her work in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and her paintings are in public, corporate and private collections, both nationally and internationally. Her current bodies of work are showcased on her website, www.tondro.com. There is a link to her blog which tells more about her adventures in art, her methods and techniques, and her most recent explorations.

Cassandra is best known for her use of experimental materials and innovative techniques. With a concern for the
environment, she has a long-standing interest in developing methods using non-toxic and Earth-friendly materials to create her artwork. To that end, she has been working with plants, Earth pigments, and natural processes on paper and canvas. When using paint, she reclaims latex house paint, rescuing cans before they are sent to landfills.

With a deep desire to bring art into more people’s lives, Cassandra creates a wide range of work, in many sizes and at many different price points, in her studio in Los Angeles. Creating frameable cards is her latest passion, one she hopes will become a new trend in our art-loving, environmentally-conscious world.
