SPLATTER PAINT CARDS

These cards are made with repurposed latex house paint -- paint that would otherwise go to waste, clog landfills and pollute the environment.  The paint is combined and manipulated in unusual ways to create lively and random patterns that are dripped, drizzled and splattered, reminiscent of Abstract Expressionist paintings.

ECOPRINT CARDS

Using leaves and seed pods collected on neighborhood walks, Cassandra creates these cards through a unique multi-step process that involves soaking, steaming and drying. No dyes, inks or paints are used -- just the colors from the foliage, so brilliant they must be seen to be believed!  The leaves are at their best when they have recently fallen from the trees, and Cassandra uses birch, cottonwood, elm, eucalyptus, evergreen pear, fig, ginkgo, maple, mulberry, and peach leaves as well as acacia seed pods.
